Sonic bark prevention?

wondering if anyone has experience with bark sound prevention devices? I prefer to get the kind you mount it somewhere at home, like this, my dog does not wear a collar and is free outside bark at the dog park, etc. Has anyone had any luck with this type of system?

We had a great Pyrenees female who was a relentless barking. I bought one of these to use only at night and it does not seem to work at all * with it. UDPS
